The GRAVESHOW #1

Greetings boils and ghouls! This is the first issue of Graveshow, a series of anthology horror comics meant to evoke the EC Comics of the past like Tales of the Crypt and Vault of Horror. Looking back on these comics, I’m actually pretty proud of what I made here. I loved the movie Creepshow so I made something like that in comic form with the master of creeps himself, Mr. Grave. The series would include 6 horror stories I’d draw up and create to “chill your bones”, as it says.

The first story in the series is about a character I’d create specifically for the first comic: “Natasesir”. Backwards spells “Rise Satan” which basically meant Natas is satan himself. This wouldn’t be the last time I’d use the character as he will appear in later comics as the main antagonist. I envisioned him as a Thanos or Galactus type character. The big bad who can do pretty much anything in the universe.
