Son of GRAVESHOW Presents: HAMMERABI

As I was doing my 8th grade World History class, I read up on the old civilization of Mesopotamia and Hammurabi’s code which were basically the first laws ever written in civilization. Hammurabi’s codes were very strict and deadly, such as the infamous rule of “Eye for an Eye”. I thought of Hammurabi as a cold-blooded killer who would kill you if you don’t obey his rules. I drew inspiration from The Mummy from Universal and created my own version of Hammurabi as “Hammerabi” who would carry a big hammer around as his killer weapon. The title card in the comic was also inspired by the Hammer Studios’ version of Dracula, also the first instance of color with the red blood.
