GRAVESHOW Presents: GRAVEHOUSE Origins: Alive or Dead (Parts I & II)

The last story of Graveshow season one would tie the first two stories together in one big origin story. Gravehouse Origins: Alive or Dead would be the origin story to Mr. Grave himself. It is revealed that he is a doctor at a local institute and is greeted by Natasesir, from the first story. He gives him the potion that turns Mr. Grave into the skeleton lord as we know him. It is also revealed that his name is Robert H.W Carpenter. I got Robert from horror director and musician Rob Zombie, Carpenter from horror director John Carpenter, and H.W from the character of Herbert West from Re-Animator which the character is heavily inspired by. There is also a cameo from Ash Williams from The Evil Dead sprinkled in there so Mr. Grave can fight Natasesir using the Necronomicon.

Graveshow was one of my favorite comic series I ever made. I loved working on the different stories and characters it just brought me so much fun and creativity. I hope one day I can adapt all of these stories into features.
